We are asking:
- Your name (to identify you)
- Your institution (to learn about your professional/ scientific interests)
- Your e-mail address (to contact you)
- Your country (to learn about your time-zone)
Our contractors
We are sharing some of your data with contractors, with whom we are having an agreement on data privacy. We are working with:
WinCongress
Registration tool – Registrants‘ data is stored on their server located in EU.
EventMobi
Virtual event platform – They will receive participants‘ name and e-mail address to provide a personal account on our closed conference platform. They will further store the information that you decide to share with them and the other confernce participants through the platform.
Vimeo
Video hosting platform – We will upload and share poster presentations and recorded talks through Vimeo. The videos will be accessible only for participants of the Nanosafety 2020 conference. Vimeo guarantees that it does not share data with third parties. Formally, we are not allowed to upload content that we do not own (https://vimeo.com/help/guidelines). You must own or hold all necessary rights (copyrights, etc.) to your video. You are asked to apply a creative commons license to your video. See the Poster guide for detailed information.
Zoom
Video conferencing tool – Video sessions and workshops will be conducted through Zoom Video Webinars. Group discussions will happen in breakout rooms. The links will only be made available to registered participants of Nanosafety 2020 through the conference platform.
Data storage
Your Personal Data is stored for no longer than the time required for the purpose for which it was collected and/or processed as previously described within the limits of the applicable legal and contractual, tax and social provisions and to protect its lawful interests (for the processing of Personal data based on the legitimate interest of the organizers of the Nanosafety 2020 conference, within the meaning of the Regulations, for example those set up to monitor communication actions).
At the end of the time for which your personal data will be stored, we will either:
- Delete or secure destroy personal data
- Anonymize personal data
- Archive personal data for statistical purposes
Your rights
If you wish to correct, block, delete or obtain information about the personal data stored about you, or if you have any questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data after registration, or if you wish to revoke any consents granted, please contact the following e-mail address: nanosafety@leibniz-inm.de
Changes and adjustments in this statement
